MEET YOUR COACH

Hi I’m Micki, and I’m passionate about living a nourishing life that lights me up, and helping others to do the same. Since 2008, I’ve been studying and teaching all things health + fitness + nutrition, and now I’ve compiled the latest science and research in the fields of health, nutrition, and functional medicine, as well as my own favorite tips and tricks for a healthy lifestyle, into one complete program – the Whole Healing Academy! I’m so excited to share this with you! I’ve made health a lasting part of my life with all of the strategies and information included, and I know you can do it too!

The Whole Healing Academy is a small group program held at the Wellness Lounge in beautiful San Diego, CA, and will be held each sunday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm from January 15th to March 5th, 2017.

What if I’m really busy?

You are not alone! Health should fit into your life, but it doesn’t have to BE your life. That being said, you can expect to carve out approximately 4-5 hours each week to review the course materials, complete the exercises, and shop for and prepare your foods.

Will this program help me get off my medications?

It is important you work closely with your doctor when adjusting doses for your medications. Though everyone is different, it is quite possible you experience improvements to your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, mood, and sleep after making lifestyle changes.

I’m a vegetarian/vegan, can I still enroll in the program?

Of course! While I often recommend high quality animal products, the most important thing is to create a sustainable healthy lifestyle that works for your body and that you feel good about! We focus heavily on plant-based eating, and offer tons of info on swaps to help you nourish your body as a vegetarian/vegan.

I’ve tried many diets, and none seem to work. How is this different?

The Whole Healing Academy is not a diet. It’s a framework that helps you to better understand your health and create a lifestyle that suites your preferences, needs, and tastes. Additionally, in the Whole Healing Academy, we not only focus on the what and how of a healthy lifestyle, but also the why by exploring the mindsets and beliefs that shape our actions. As Norman Vincent Peale said, “change your thoughts and you change your world.”

What if I don’t like it, can I get a refund?

Is it expensive to buy healthy food?

Oftentimes fresh, whole, sustainable food is a bit more expensive, yes. But the food you eat is an investment in your health! Would you rather put that higher cost into food that makes you feel great today, or sick days and medical bills in the future?

How soon can I expect to see results?

Everybody is different, and your results depend on the effort you put into the program. However, most people making lifestyle changes often start to notice changes within a few weeks.
