The holidays are notorious for being a battlefield of nutrition land mines. With so many treats and goodies making their way to the table, I’ll be the first to admit, I have absolutely no intention of “eating clean” on Christmas (or probably the days before and after). But, I also don’t want to make myself feel like total crap. Holiday eating (like the rest of the year really) is about finding a balance that is realistic, enjoyable, and satisfying. Below are some of my best tips for eating well this holiday season, while still having fun and keeping your sanity!
While I believe each and every one of these tips is important, the best advice I can give, really, is to not stress about food, and enjoy your holiday meals. Good health is not made or destroyed by one meal, or even a couple of meals, but rather consistent habits. That said, I want to wish you a safe and happy Christmas week!
