Let’s be real. Sometimes doing what’s best for our bodies doesn’t sound like much fun. At least, that’s what we’ve been told, right? Watching your weight? Better skip the ooey-gooey chocolate cake and eat a bland and boring salad. Looking to get strong and fit? Get used to suffering through exercises you hate.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. Healthy living doesn’t have to be a chore.
In fact, I believe each and every one of us is capable and deserving of living a healthy yet pleasurable, rich, and satisfying life — a life that lights us up inside, a life that nourishes us from the inside out, and a life that we love!
For this reason, I’m beyond excited to launch the first ever #nourishplaylove Instagram challenge!
I’ve created this challenge to help you pour new energy, inspiration, and love into your healthy lifestyle – to empower you to make healthy living invigorating, exciting, and gratifying!
How it works . . .
For 3 weeks (from February 15th to March 6th), we will focus on nourishing our bodies, cultivating daily play, and acknowledging and enjoying moments of love and gratitude – capturing our insights, challenges, and breakthroughs in pictures* and sharing them with one another on Instagram along the way.
We are in this together, supporting and inspiring one another!
At the end of the 3 weeks, the challenge winner(s)* will receive a gift bag filled with some of my very favorite essentials for an inspired healthy life.
But more importantly, by the end of the 3 weeks, you will feel more confident in living a healthy life you actually enjoy. You will have the tools and confidence to create a nourishing, active, and joyful life you love.
*Winner(s) will be chosen based off of insight, creativity, and participation throughout the challenge. I’ll be looking for posts and images that demonstrate effort and growth in embracing the components of #nourishplaylove.
*Instagram image examples are shown above. Your images need not be the same as mine – the point is to show how you enjoy nourishing foods, activity, and the little things in life.

Sign up for the challenge by entering your name and email address in the form below, then check your email to confirm your participation (don’t forget to look in your spam folder too)! Throughout the challenge, you will receive one email weekly, loaded with ideas and inspiration to empower you to nourish your body, discover and take part in invigorating and enjoyable movement and play, and shift your mindset to gratitude and love.
Download the Instagram app to your smartphone, and set up your free profile (if you don’t already have an Instagram account). Then be sure to search for and follow me (@mickiring) to stay up to date on challenge details.
Throughout the 3 weeks, post photos which represent you either nourishing, playing, or loving with the hashtag #nourishplaylove (be sure to tag me by typing @mickiring in the caption of your photo as well so I see your posts). Post as little or as much as you’d like, but the more you participate, the more you will get out of the challenge!
